We understand that card grading can be subjective and differ from store to store so we aim to do our best to explain our grading conditions to ensure you get exactly the type of card you are expecting.

We grade our cards on the severity and amount of imperfections on a card. The more severe the imperfection or the more frequent it appears, the lower the grade it will receive.

"Slight" imperfections are hardly noticeable without inspection.
"Minor" imperfections may be visible at close glance.
"Moderate" imperfections are immediately noticeable.
"Significant" imperfections are immediately noticeable and more severe.

Graded Cards

Cards graded by PSA, CGC or Beckett are perfect for MINT collectors or those who want a very specific grade. These cards generally sell for more as they are professionally graded and slabbed in sealed cases.

Near Mint

Near Mint cards should look clean, sharp and excellent condition. Near Mint cards may have very slight wear usually not immediately noticeable without inspection which can be from manufacturing, packaging, opening, light handling or even placing in and out of sleeves. Cards in this condition are pack fresh or well taken care of.

Near Mint cards are a great option for all players and collectors who want high quality cards and may contain mint cards but may not be suitable to MINT collectors looking to get 9/10 gradings.

Near Mint cards may contain any of the following slight defects, however too many will drop a card to Played condition.

Slight Scratching
Slight scratches that do not remove any color from the card (they're not visibly white) and are not visible unless angled at light source.

Slight Border Wear
Border may show small amounts of white in a few areas around the card.

Slight Corner Wear
Slight whitening may appear on the ends of corners but should be minor and appear on two or fewer corners.

Lightly Played

Lightly played cards are cards that did not quite make the cut for Near Mint but are still is excellent condition. The cards are still clean looking but will have one or more small but immediately noticeable imperfections from light play or handling.

Lightly played cards are a great option for most players and collectors who want clean looking cards at a discount price.
